What Causes Armpit Darkening?

The main treatments used include hydroquinone, retinoic acid, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, topical products containing kojic acid.
Within the scope of armpit darkening treatment, products containing alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid that provide peeling effect on the skin can be used.
Laser treatment can be applied as another method to eliminate pigments. Armpit color lightening can also be achieved with PRP and mesotherapy. It is often necessary to use more than one method in combination.
Methods such as baking soda, lemon-orange juice used at home for armpit darkening are not recommended due to the risk of causing skin irritation. Do not turn to wrong applications thinking that armpit darkening is a natural solution.
