Face Filling
FACE FILLING APPLICATIONS
The face is divided into 3 regions in terms of filling applications. The first region includes the forehead and eye area, the second region, the mid-face, includes the nose, cheeks and under the eyes, and the third region includes the mouth and chin area.
When evaluating the face, it should be viewed both from the front and side profile. The third, lower region of the face is of great importance in facial proportion. In people with a small and receding jawbone, both the jowl and cheek appearance come to the fore.
In people with jaw retardation, the lower lip is further back than the upper lip. The nose looks bigger. The jowl area is more prominent as if there is excess fat. In this case, special fillers to be applied to the chin, namely chin fillers, also known as jawline fillers, reduce or eliminate this appearance by clarifying the chin contour and bringing the chin forward. The jowl area, which seems to be merged with the cheek, is separated from each other with the chin filler applied.
In people with jaw retardation, the face looks as if it is sagging. This increases with age. The sagging appearance will be reduced with fillers to be applied to the chin, i.e. chin fillers, also known as jawline fillers. This application is also called Liquid Lifting.
When the face is viewed in profile, a line is drawn from the nose to the chin to check whether the chin proportion is adequate. If the upper lip is 4 mm behind this line and the lower lip is 2 mm behind it, there is no chin retardation.
Facial fillers are used in the elimination of established skin wrinkles, volumizing and reshaping the face, lip augmentation, as well as nose contouring, lifting scars and atrophic skin tissues.
FILLERS USED
The permanence of facial fillers varies according to their content and the density of cross-links. Fillers containing hyaluronic acid last between 6 months and 1.5 years.
Hyaluronic acid is a basic intermediate that forms collagen in the dermis tissue. It can bind water up to 1000 times its volume. Facial fillers containing hyaluronic acid do not displace or shift in the area where they are injected. Since they do not cause allergic reactions, they are frequently used to increase the volume of soft tissue. Fillers can be easily applied with local anesthesia through needles and cannulas.
Most of them Time Cheap, poorly tested facial fillers may cause allergic reactions. These types of products also have a high risk of infection. Therefore, cheap facial fillers should be avoided.
The free hyaluronic acid in facial fillers used to give volume to the face moisturizes the skin and increases collagen. Thanks to their fluidity, these facial fillers are easily injected under the skin and provide a natural appearance. They have been proven to be safe in tests.
By using microcannulas, it can be applied without bruising and with minimal pain. Since their adaptation to the face is higher than thick fillers, they create a natural appearance.
These substances can be easily applied to the chin oval, cheek cavities, nasolabial sulcus and hands that require volume, including the forehead and eye contour where fine lines are present. In facial filler application, the amount of material used will decrease in the following sessions.
Facial fillers containing calcium hydroxyapatite crystals (Radiesse) are also used to fill deep grooves in the face and to shape the face. This is a substance that stimulates collagen without the risk of allergy. Its permanence is 1-1.5 years.
